Toby Kearton (born June 20, 1997) is a British award winning director, screenwriter and producer whose shorts have screened worldwide, including selections at both BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals. His breakout short 'Dissonance' (2018) premiered at Cannes Court Métrage at the Cannes Film Festival and his historical dramas 'The Dust Child' (2018) and 'The Little Picture' (2018) have earned 20+ awards, with the latter reaching over 820k YouTube views. A graduate of the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, Kearton has since showcased range across projects including the veteran mental health PSA 'Hidden Wounds' (2022), 'Pricks' (2023) adapted from the play of the same name, the short WWI drama 'Kamerad' (2024) and the documentary short 'Dick Dangerfield: Defending Drama'. He recently completed principal photography on the TV pilot 'Livin’ with the Devil' and his debut feature 'Sweet Nothings', now in post production.
