Hamed Zolfaghari is an Iranian filmmaker, producer, and writer whose work moves between creative documentary and hybrid cinema. Drawing on personal histories and collective memory, his films explore the intersections of landscape, belonging, and social change. His latest feature, Vanishing Tracks (2026), premiered at Hot Docs and screened in the Viewpoints Competition at the Tribeca Festival. His previous feature, Women of the Sun: A Chronology of Seeing (2020), premiered at Hot Docs and was broadcast on ARTE – La Lucarne. He also co-wrote The Lost Season, which received the Audience Award at the Jean Rouch International Film Festival
