Rafaël Beauchamp is a French Canadian filmmaker and a bachelor from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Loving storytelling from an early age, everything changes when he discovers an old VHS camera, starts filming his LEGO sets and decides to become a filmmaker. He is interested in enhancing modern societal issues through the lens of genre cinema. His films have been screened internationally at festivals such as SXSW, Palm Springs, Short Shorts Asia and Tampere. He is currently working on his first feature film, as a part of the Ignite program of the Sundance Institute.
