Born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, Clay Conover now resides in Chicago, Illinois where he continues his pursuit of becoming a professional screenwriter. He has written many short films in his undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as having produced and directed his debut film, HOWIE (2022). Clay focuses on stories that have compelling characters who drive the plot through their actions. Many of his narratives revolve around identity and what it means to be human.
