Claude Boissol was a French film and television director and screenwriter, recognized for his contributions to mid-20th-century French cinema and television. Boissol made his directorial debut with Three Boys, One Girl (1948). His notable works include The Whole Town Accuses (1956) and Julie the Redhead (1959). In television, he co-created the long-running crime series Commissaire Moulin, which aired from 1976 to 2008.
