He is a producer and director, known for Terror of Frankenstein (1977), The Sleep of Death (1980) and Champagne Rose är död (1970). He was a jazz singer and pianist, educated at UCLA (Bachelor of Arts degree), joining ASCAP in 1962, and served as president of music-publisher Kalmar, Inc.
