‘Phakhinai’ was the pen name of Amp Phakhinai Kasirak. He graduated from Ramkhamhaeng University's Faculty of Humanities majoring in mass communication. From 2005 to 2008, Phakhinai generally wrote romance novels. He then turned his interest to horror, starting with the novel ‘Nang Chada' which became more successful than anticipated. Today, Phakhinai has written more than fifty novels, some of which have been already adapted for TV and some will be soon adapted to the big screen. Phakinai passed away at the age of forty.
