Alfredo Giannetti was an Italian screenwriter and film director celebrated for his contributions to Italian cinema. Giannetti collaborated extensively with director Pietro Germi, co-writing films such as Divorce Italian Style (1961), for which they won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
