The "crazy" engineer Murat, who sacrificed not only his labor and sweat but also his wife and son for the Keban Dam, is engaged in a difficult struggle against the ambitions of his stepbrother. The tunnel and road construction work being carried out to create a gambling paradise in the dam area has also brought with it incidents of dynamite explosions. The geological structure of the region poses a risk of causing the dam to collapse. Murat has sensed the danger and is risking his life to warn both his brother and the local community.
