In tonight’s explosive premiere, danger lurks at every turn. A stealth bomber plummets from the sky and crashes into a backyard picnic — sending chaos through an unsuspecting family’s day. Then, two young girls fall through the ice — but will anyone make it in time to save them from certain death? Next, the drama intensifies when a hot air balloon explodes after hitting a power line, sending flames into the sky. A tough police officer finds himself caught in a deadly hail of gunfire, but it’s going to take more than bullets to stop him. And, a group of skydivers finds themselves trapped in a blazing inferno when their plane explodes just after takeoff. World's Most Amazing Videos is a reality television series that showcases accidents, disasters, police chases and other extraordinary events that are caught on video camera. These videos normally shown anybody involved in these aforementioned incidents survive nonetheless. Although it is similar in content to the other series Real TV and Maximum Exposure, it takes a more serious tone. Originally, the show appeared on NBC as a timeslot filler program. A new series of episodes of the show were created in 2006 first-run for Spike TV, after a six-year hiatus from the NBC stint.
