Joe Sylvain, the first Black actor in Swedish cinema who, among other things, played Starke Adolf in a film version of Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi Långstrump (Pippi Longstocking) and was the partner of Ester “Miss Arona” Nygren – the “strongest lady in Europe.”
