Zhenya and Nikita are the children of an authoritarian father, Ivan "Vadimych" Shiryaev. They've both grown up and had children of their own for a long time, but they still depend on their father's approval. And from his money, too. Vadimych wanted to make his children happy, but it seems that he ruined their lives: he convinced Zhenya to divorce his wife, and Nikita to marry the one he did not love. As a result, all Shiryaev's are unhappy and dissatisfied with life in their own way. Nikita is tired of his once again pregnant wife.
