A bizarre illness runs rampant throughout the country, causing the human body to flicker increasingly faster until it disappears entirely. To counter its effects, step aerobics are recommended. Questions pertaining to the meaning of the existence of the self and a depersonalized society are embodied in the mechanical repetition of stepping exercises.
