Aging tawaif Sitara Jahan was skilled in classical dance and music and her daughter, Nagina, continued the family legacy. Based on the novel of the same name by Aliya Bukhari, Deewar-e-Shab tells the story of Nagina's beautiful twin daughters, Sandal and Geti-Ara, who bring livelihood to the previously bleak Sitara Mahal.
