In the early days of liberation, banditry is rampant. Xiang Yang, a reconnaissance platoon leader of the People's Liberation Army, is ordered to go to Sanwanli to suppress bandits. Going undercover, he reunites with his elder brother Xiang Tian, who has become the third leader of the bandit gang Qingfeng Stronghold, and they have a fierce confrontation. Yang remains steadfast in his convictions as he outwits intelligence, burns the granary, and coordinates with his comrades outside to launch a siege. Facing the brutal counterattacks of bandit leaders like Blind Long, Yang leads troops to fight bloody battles.
