Carolina pertenece a una familia de clase media. Vive con sus padres y sus dos hermanas. En la Universidad le han platicado de los ovnis y pide a su tía Ángela que los lleve, a su novio Mario y a ella a verlos. Ahí se tropieza con Pablo, un joven de clase media alta que también ha ido con su novia y unos amigos a ver el acontecimiento.

Actor Héctor Bonilla was considered for a stellar role in the series but he turned the offer down since he was working on the successful stage play 'La Escalera' (also starring Damián Alcázar) at Teatro Monterrey in Mexico City. Then director Luis Vélez, good friend with Bonilla, offered him a small supporting role for the series final weeks and Bonilla eventually accepted.
