Maria and Carlos are at a breaking point in their respective relationships. One feels absorbed and silenced by a boyfriend who only talks about himself. The other feels an insurmountable distance from a girlfriend dominated by a silence that does not respond to him. Both are unhappy. Both know what they have to do, but neither does it... Are they simply two sides of the same coin?
